Strong Color Change Alex. Oval 2.10cts.
An unusual combination of a strong color change, good cutting, and superior clarity. Alexandrite is rarely this nice and both the daylight blue-green and the incandescent red purple colors are very attractive. The saturation of the daylight blue-green exceeds the top GIA color grade for alexandrite and the stones from this deposit may very well end up resetting GIA's color standard for alexandrite.
